The Center County Child Access Center was officially opened for service on Friday, October 3rd.  A conference was held in the Bellefonte Courthouse Annex and was attended by community representatives, many who were responsible in making the Center a reality.

Judge Thomas King Kistler summarized the purpose of the Center and sentiments of those attending concisely when he stated, "Starting Today, kids and their parents will be safer and happier".
